Children’s Music

LOGOS Choir

The LOGOS Choir is the children’s choir at First Presbyterian Church.  The choir is part of the LOGOS Christian Education Program.  The LOGOS Choir rehearses each Wednesday from 5:00-6:00 and singings in worship 5 or 6 times each year.  As part of the LOGOS Choir, children learn music reading skills, healthy vocal technique, traditional hymns, praise songs, sacred songs from around the world and anthems that teach scripture or and biblical concepts.  Plus, LOGOS Choir is great fun!  Ms. Amy Fennell is the director of the LOGOS Choir.

Legoz Music

The Legoz Program is a Wednesday afternoon program for 4 and 5 year old children.  The children study a Bible story, participate in music, make a craft and eat a meal together.  The music portion of our Legoz Program is taught by Nickie Murphy, Music Associate at First Presbyterian Church.  Nickie is a certified Kindermusik instructor.

Music and Arts Camp

100% Chance of Rain

From Monday, August 3 - Friday, August 7, First Presbyterian Church will host a Music and Arts Camp for our community.  All children who will be in grades 2-6 in the 2015-2016 school year are invited to attend. During the week, children participate in many activities, but the main focus will be preparing a short musical, 100% Chance of Rain.  We hope FPC children will be involved and invite many friends.

The camp will take place from 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.  On Friday, the children will arrive at 9:00 AM and present a performance of 100% Chance of Rain at noon.  There is a $35 fee for the week. This fee takes care of a t-shirt for the week, snacks and necessary supplies. Please contact Amy Fennell if you have questions (amy@firstgreenwood.com).
